Time went by ,when our drummer [Majid] who collaborated with Anil in an another project band decided to play for us. Years passed by till high school graduation. That's where it clicked to us, if music is what we love, we should do it with our hearts, and share our love among the people around us.
We had magnificent rockers that played with us. Some of which, helped and created our sound today. Many problems and wrong turns led our band to devastation. Then out of the blue, came our lead guitarist [Faro] who joined us in 2006 along side with a bassist [Kevin James].
Today with our new improved sound, we are in the stage where making a new song is not enough. We strive hard for our first take of the song and strive even harder for the second. "Perfectionists" is what people might say, but we say "the more excerssion, the better the song goes!" We each also have our own different influences. Ranging from Metal, Punk, Pop, Alternative and Hardcore. Difference in styles created what DULLFIGURE's sound is all about. As of now, we are raising money for our recording sessions and will be playing for exposure any chance we get to.
Just a little overview of where we all come from. We're all Filipino blooded. Anil is partly Indian, Majid is partly Pakistani, and Kevin is partly Scottish... while Faro and Sheila are pure Filipino.
We love to eat!I we quote"A LOT" that's probably what do after practices (actually... whenever we can! Haha) Most of the time we just chill around ,drink and making fun amongst ourselves. We are all equally dedicated to each other.
