Jake arrived in Hong Kong in January 2007. He has brought with him one of the great traditions of America, and that is the music known as The Bluesc
Today Blues is truly a world music, but the roots can easily be traced to AmericacJake started listening to The Blues when he discovered his Fatherfs record collection. The music moved him! He started going to music clubs at a very young age to listen to live Bluesc
At the age of 12 Jake was given his first harmonica by his Father and after that he started taking lessons with the bluesman Adam Gussow (Rounder Records performing artist). He has been playing professionally for the last 15 years. Before coming to Hong Kong he toured all over New England with his Rocking Blues Band gBig Chief and the Midnight Groove.h Since Arriving in Hong Kong he has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many of Hong Kongfs most talented musicianscHe is very proud and happy to be living in Hong Kong and sharing the music that he loves.
