BIOGRAPHY
In 1996, "The Takatori" what is a former self of "Speed King" was formed by Takatori. "Speed King" named in 1997,
and they acted and performed in Japanese society in Hong Kong.
After some members changed, Koya joined instead of pre-bass player "Inoue Akira" in 1998. After the performance at
City Dancer, they started the recording session, then thier first album "Speed King" was released in 2000. And,
Motohashi and Fukada joined to "Speed King" as the drummer and guitar player instead of Tanaka and Takahashi.
According to this member change, their music direction changed from hard rock to British rock'n roll style, then they
started to promote to local people more. from 2001, they are regular band at "48th Street Chicago Blues" from it opens.
In 2002, Kosaka joined as keyboard player, and Jimi joined as the drummer in 2003. They are still acting in local place
as main.
In 2005, 48th Street Chicago Blues closed. But at the same time, one bar in Wanchai name is Wanch gave us the offer to play as a regular band, and we're playing at this bar monthly.
In 2006, Fukada has been in the rest , and Kosaka leave the band. Teramoto from Very Ape, and professional jazz piano player, Haruta have joined to the band.
In 2008, Teramoto moved to Thailand, and Hiroshi (from Sea Monsters and Helter Skelter) joined to the band.
